This app has a simple job of reading feeds from 9NEWS. The "geniuses" that wrote the app decided to add so much code it takes full minute to open the app. Also, the tiles that change every time is dumb. Each section should be static.

Rather than having all of the newest or trending stories on the landing page, this app has hard-to-decipher, very large icons you have to scroll through to find the kind of story you are looking for. I rarely use this app for news and only keep it so I can occasionally check traffic. However, they updated their traffic map, and its not easy to read anymore either, so now I dont have much use for this app.

Every time I go to this app the news is old. I mean as in weeks and weeks old. Unless its about the Broncos.

The breaking news banner needs to be kept updated. Other than that the 9NEWS app is great.

Only the ads play smoothly, which I guess is ok since you will get ads every time you open the app or select a story.

Too much advertising. Too slow, hesitates a lot.

This app takes forever to load. Stories arent updated very often. Makes the other news outlets in Denver look outstanding.

9NEWS app was a great place for local DENVER news. The more recent updates are not only very slow, but if you leave the app and come back to it, it takes a long time to reload. The layout with 9NEWS app is also a waste of space and hard to find what youre looking for. 3 years ago this app worked great.

Just when you thought this app could not get worse, it did. Now the live broadcast is only shown in portrait mode, so I get a tiny window that cannot be rotated to landscape mode. Why? So they can put banner ad on the bottom of the screen. I love 9News on TV, but this app is still the weakest link of the "9News Everywhere." Those 5 star reviews could be from the vendor that created this app.

I appreciate nine news. They always have up-to-date local and national news. I dont really have to look anywhere else.

Even after watching NBC Sports Live, not 15 seconds before, this app tells me I dont have an active network connection. I give up.

Every other local news app loads lightning fast compared to 9 news. Also there are way too many ads disguised as news stories. 9news is NOT about journalism. They are about profit revenues!

Despite constant promotion saying app is great it is not. 9 News should spend more time working on the app and less time patting them selves on the back

Would highly recommend a different app if you want to actually read the news. I have no idea why they even have a "local news" tab as it is EXACTLY the same as the "top stories." The "national news" is very rarely changed. Boo 9news. You are sadly going downhill. Fox31 and 7 news are 1000% better!

This latest app is 1) buggy and 2) the UI is inferior to previous builds. Try to find something quickly? Difficult. Please fix the news "live stream," too - constantly freezes and fails. Your competitions do not. KUSA-TV is usually the best. 2 stars.

I think its great.I can check it anywhere Im at. I get the latest news sports and weather, keep up the great work 9news.in my opinion 9news is the best, we will miss you Mark K☹!!!!
