Ive been watching for over 20 years and I love this channel and this app!

We get limited TV from Denver in SW Colorado. This app gets us closer to the Capitol of our state.

I like this one over the other Denver News apps because this one allows you to swipe to next story instead of having to close out each story before going to the next story.

Im very disappointed with the updated 9News app. All I want is a simple overview of current events. The app is slow, has too many adds, and is formatted very poorly. Additionally, the font size is incredibly small and difficult to read.

3/26/2016 The latest revamp is yet another fail. The first issue is that 9news loves to switch thing s around on a multiple times a day basis. News is sometimes at the top and sometimes buried deeper on the home screen. This makes it very difficult to find what you are looking for. Second issue is they have changed the paid advertisements to look like news stories. I understand the need to feature advertising but the format is just plain dirty. 9news needs to get their act together in the app department as they are far behind other offerings. Lastly, stream rarely works correctly or crashes the app. Hard to believe that 9news has a top rated Internet site but cant seem to produce a decent app. Top stories dont work, it quits at random, overall this is a terrible app. If something doesnt improve soon Im switching to one of the other Denver channels. Dont bother downloading the app, its not worth it. The newest version is still terrible. Comparing it to other Denver news apps this is the worst. The top stories and local stories tabs are almost always the same, the app crashes, the video and photos within stories dont work. You have to quit the app and go back in for it to actually refresh and the list goes on. I love 9news but this app is horrible. Please come out with something that loves up to your reputation 9news!

I hate how the ads are interwoven with the news to make them seem like stories. Deceptive. Boo.

The stories are good, but the weather section is terrible. A brief description of the day would be better and a link to an updated video forecast would be great. Check Denver 7 out. They have a great weather section.

Gets hung up and stuck all the time. Wish it worked better bc I love you guys at 9 news. Please keep trying!!!

The content of the app is great but Ive had nothing but frustration with all the technical issues. Gotta go remove the app off my phone now :-(

Its nice to get some local news stories, which is the main reason I got this app. There are fewer local stories than I would like to see, and theyre not updated as frequently as Id like, but the app gives you a good sense of whats going on in Denver/CO. I also used to enjoy reading the few national stories featured on the app as well. But something happened around February or March 2016, and now nearly all of the national news stories are just plain old sports stories. I used to be able to get headlines about politics, and notable and current events, but I just counted the current headlines under the "national news" tab for April 7. There are 12, yes 12 stories about sports, 2 stories about American Idol, and one story about weather. COME ON, 9 news, you can do better than that for a "national news" section. Seriously, there are no national headlines more important than 12 sports stories and American Idol? What happened!?

Kind of annoyed! Love 9news, not the app. I have tried for many months now with the new platform to use my mobile device to stream the live newscasts in my quiet house at 5:30am every morning. About 9/10 times I get streaming video that glitches almost every time with about 3 seconds of sound and then 10 seconds of silence on repeat... With a frozen picture most of the time. So I get bits and pieces and never the whole forecast or blizzard report or traffic update. I have tested on multiple devices iPhone 5-6S and Ipad2 - Mini. I have tried restarting my phone, restarting my app... Tried it on many different networks including cellular. Sometimes but almost never fixes it or changes and then Ive wasted most of my morning...For multiple months. For a billion dollar media company, this is unacceptable IMHO. I hope my feedback helps.

I could not believe this could get any worse, but it has. I have to delete it. They care more about all the ads, rather than giving you up to date news/weather. They need a young fresh view to their app and web site.

I have grown up watching 9 news. But this app is not user friendly. I have a hard just trying to find just what I am looking for. Plus it doesnt always open when I click on the icon on my iPad.

I spend most of my time on the road as a truck driver, and its very important for me to stay in touch with the news from home, so when I do, I access my 9News app to keep up. Sometimes it doesnt work on the live news feed but that is usually because Im in a spotty area where I am not receiving a good cell signal. I Love this app!!!

The app is a useful application and the content is kept fresh; however, there are a couple of deficiencies. I dont like to hunt for the "Live newscast" tile. It should be a button in the menu bar easy to find. Also on the. iPhone, the live newscast only scales to portrait view. If I hold the phone in landscape view (16:9), no dice. I find this highly disturbing from a TV company who broadcasts a 16:9 image in HD. If its a bandwidth issue, find a different service provider. I recommend Livestream.com they can handle it.

I like this app, but I do not like all the stupid advertisements. They have more advertisements then news articles. The app also crashes a lot. I will open the app and it will either not load or will load and then shut down. When the app does work I do like it.

There are way to many ads that interupt reading the news and getting to what your interested in.

I dont like how the windows change periodically. I keep trying to click on the news, and I either get the main headline story or the weather. I wish the windows would stay put. I would also like to have a way of tracking down past articles that are no longer on the app. I see an article that my wife would like, but by the time I open the app to show her..... Its not there anymore.
